How long have you lived here? 3 years
What do you love most about living here? The local community - its shops, schools, businesses, as well as those who live here.
What does a typical day look like for you? Praying, meeting people in our churches and out and about, conducting services, popping into the schools as well as our own groups and activities, plus a fair few meetings.
Where’s your favourite place to eat, and why? (in Horbury or Ossett) Hard to choose with such a great selection! Though if I were ever stuck for food or had a friend staying with me, I know I could pop down to Ego, or order in a pizza from one of the great Italian restaurants here.
Where’s your favourite place to meet friends, and why? Obviously the church.
Where’s your favourite place to shop, and why? As a book-lover, I’d have to say Rickaro Books, which is now Darling Reads.
Are you a Member of, or do you support, any of the local Clubs/Organisations? (Sports, baby groups, Social, Charity etc). Please specify.
As well going to our church toddler groups, youth group, craft group, choir, bell ringers and everything else, I am Padre to the local branch of the Royal British Legion, and it’s great to support their work.
Are you a Cat-person or a Dog-person? Neither.
Anything else you would like to share with us? Priests are there not just for those who go to church, but for the whole parish, so please do say ‘Hello’ to me if I’m out and about.
